Syrian refugee killed on trip down memory lane

A Syrian refugee died Friday after sustaining serious injuries to his soul during a trip down memory lane that took him back to his country, despite warnings by family members and friends who urged him to avoid the experience.

Sources said government agents immediately set upon the man as soon as he arrived in Syria, escorting him on visits to various security branches where he forgot his name, hometown and other milestones along memory lane.

After his release, the man attempted to find his childhood home, but after realizing the Syria of his memories no longer existed, attempted to flee once again. While trying to cross the border, he was riddled with righteous gunfire from both opposition and pro-government militias.
